Amy manages all aspects of the front desk and customer service. She handles class registrations and also coordinates competitions and travel. She was previously the front desk manager at an urgent care facility in Fort Worth for 6 years. While working there she received her certification in customer service.  Amy has one daughter, Mackynzie. Amy enjoys reading and being outdoors.

 Misty Lewis, a former high school cheerleader and a state champion in the USAG Jr. Olympic Program with the Academy Gymnastics team, has been coaching at the Academy for 15 years. As been a part of the Academy Family for most of her life, she has produced many regional and state champions in gymnastics as well as many junior high, high school and collegiate cheerleaders. Misty has one daughter, Carly, and a son, Connor, and is proud to watch them both growing up as a part of the Academy Family! The Academy DGC is very blessed to have one of our own who continues to share her love of the sport, devote expertise, and uphold the Academy hallmark.

Dance Department Instructor

 Amy Donham is a veteran member of The Academy Staff and one of the original members of BCD.  She trained under Kim Barnard and Doris Rouse for twelve years and has received continued education training at The University of Nevada at Las Vegas and The Broadway Dance Center in New York City.  Amy began teaching in 1992 serving as both assistant instructor to Kim Barnard, and head dance instructor at the Academy's sister locations for six years.  Amy retired briefly after the birth of her 2nd child, but is so happy to be back at The Academy again.  She is married to local contractor, Aaron Donham.  Together they have four sons.

Jonathan Lewis is a dancer and choreographer out of Los Angeles, California. He has been an instructor for the National Cheerleading Association and the National Dance Alliance for the past eleven years. Jonathan has resided in L.A. for three years developing his dance career working with highly established choreographers and directors in the industry such as Roger Lee (Janet Jackson/Britney Spears), Michael Rooney, Fatima, and Eddie Garcia with whom he worked as a dancer for Jennifer Lopez. He can also be seen as a dancer/cheerleader in the DVD film release of "Bring It On Again". He has done numerous videos and stage performances with such artist as Jewel ("Intuition"), Mystikal, P. Diddy and Busta Rhymes as well as commercial acting. Jonathan's choreography credentials are much more established in the cheerleading and dance team industry. His credits include Nationally Ranked cheer and dance programs such as Cheer Athletic Allstars, Top Gun Allstars, World Cup Allstars, Academy of Champions East, Brigham Young University Dance Team, North Carolina State University Dance Team, and Barnard Company Dance, most of which he continually works with on a yearly basis. We are very fortunate to have a great friend and talent to instruct, choreograph and correspond with our cheer and dance programs regularly.
